Sue - Posted 30/01/2012 I recently purchased RapBall for a family gathering. The ages ranged from 20 to 85. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the game. The older relations commented how suitable the game would be to take away in their caravan to play with other couples on their holidays. They also played a slightly modified version of the game to suit their capabilities. The younger ones were very competitive. But regardless of who was playing the one thing that was very evident was the amount of fun everyone had. Jan Faye - Member Quote Posted January 5 The RapBall arrived 2 days ago. The 4 of us immediately unpacked the box. The instructions were very clear. The only difficulty was in putting the pieces together. It required a bit of force to join the poles together. There is a large enclosed bag that all the pieces can be put into to carry to a park or a beach. We used it in our backyard. There are 3 parallel bars. One of the good things about the bars is that when the balls are thrown towards the bars, each bar has colourful stickers on it denoting the point. We do not have to look back at a manual to work out which bar has point 1 or 2 or 3. My kids, 11 and 16 year olds, loved it, particularly the 11 year old. I think it is more suited to ages 8 - 13. It is a good game of skill, of targeting the balls to the bars and when they hit the bars, they wrap around the bars. If the balls have enough force when thrown but hit the ground, they can bounce from the ground up to the bars. That was fun to watch. The balls are like a golf ball so are heavy duty. There are 3 sets of balls for each participant. We have a green set and a yellow set. Jan .

As luck would have it, the day after it arrived I had a number of extra kids around so they could all trial it. As Jan Faye has described it is easy to assemble - it did need a bit of force to put it together but this may become less of an issue with use. The bag is also a great idea so it becomes very portable. The 10 yr old girls really enjoyed it. They even modified some of the rules to make it work with 3 people. The 8 yr old boys also had a great time. They each had their own approach as to the best method to use to maximise their scores. I can see it would be a great family activity - particularly when grandparents or older family friends were about. The instructions are very clear. The soft ball option (additional cost) would be a great addition in colder weather as an indoor toy, if you had the room. My kids enjoyed it so much they have taken it to the country for a few days to play it with their grandparents. Thanks for the opportunity to trial it. Ose •

We love RapBall. It gets us outside and active, Willingly! It's become a 'must play game' at every one of our BBQ's. 100% of our guests have played it and loved it. They often comment on it. You are on a winner here! Our gatherings are now just a bit more unique. We even had a 92yo Great Grandma (in a wheelchair) over and she had a successful go at it too! Its certainly addictive and fun! Even kids that come over that are usually "surgically"attached to their Nintendo DS, seem to gravitate to this game! I would whole heartedly recommend this game to everyone! You should put a warning on the box, because friends and family come over more often (until they get their own game)

We purchased RapBall to entertain our grandchildren but soon realised that this is a game that is enjoyed by the whole family. It is fun and allows for all people with varying degrees of skill to participate. Wherever we have taken the game and played it, be it Caravan Parks, on the beach or anywhere else, we had other people ask us 'Where do you get it' Now we carry a brochure with us so we can let those interested know, where and how they can buy a game for themselves.
