- Just For Fun Enterprises is a South Australian owned and operated family business,
formed in May 2009. -
The RapBall prototype tossing game, outdoor game was constructed by Rodger Yates in December 2007.
- Public reaction to the game whilst played on Adelaide beaches, in local parks and camping grounds from
- South Australia across to New South Wales was very positive. In every location people would
ask how and where they could buy this 'toss it game' - which became RapBall.' - This enthusiastic reception encouraged us to put together the team that produces and markets the RapBall backyard game today
Our motivation in introducing RapBall to Australia is to offer a healthy 'break' from the electronic side of life and to bring families and friends together to have FUN. - RapBall can be played by young and old, abled and disabled, RapBall is for everyone!
- The History of RapBall :
- In Spanish 'ball' is 'bola' and this is where our game originated. The 'Bola' is a primitive hunting
- tool that was originally used by South Americal Indians and Gouchos to capture running animals, birds or game by entangling their legs or wings.
- With RapBall there is no 'live game' but we have
- added a strong element of FUN into the use of the 'Bola.'
- RapBall is a tossing game, which can be played by children and adults of all ages outdoors and indoors.
- using balls tethered by cord and thrown at a Goal frame, where points are scored.
- This lawn game, backyard game utilizes the ancient skills used by the South American Indians - Focus, Concentration and Co-ordination.
- We have added the element of mental arithmetic which definitely enhances
- the FUN as participants engage both their physical and mental attributes while playing this backyard game
